Attention, dancing queens and karaoke stars over 40. Universal Pictures is looking for singing trios of 40+ women to audition for "Donna & The Dynamos," the singing group in the film Mamma Mia!, to perform with film co-star Christine Baranski. The chosen ladies will win a trip to London for the Mamma Mia! world premiere in July.
Auditions are taking place today in New York City at Spotlight Live (1604 Broadway at 49th Street) from 11AM until 4PM. Just get up on stage, and belt out an ABBA classic ("Dancing Queen" or "Mamma Mia!") for your chance to win. To secure an audition time, call 866-99-DYNAMO. Walk-ins will also be welcome on a first come, first serve basis.
If you can't make it to the live audition, you can still submit an audition tape online through Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Five finalist trios will be selected and the big winners will ultimately be determined by America's vote. Find out more about the contest.
